MELBOURNE INNOVATION DISTRICT DESIGN SYMPOSIUM
As part of Melbourne Design Week 2018, RMIT is hosting a one day symposium on the Melbourne Innovation District that will focus specifically on the role of design in the shaping of this District. The aim of the symposium is to make explicit the contribution of design in all its forms; urban design, participatory design strategy, landscape architecture & public art, wayfinding & communication design, and the design of services enabled by digital engagement and effective policy.
The symposium will explore how through strategy, advocacy and action, designers can facilitate change in this emergent part of Melbourne.
