The RMIT School of Architecture and Design has launched a new Master of Design Innovation and Technology (coursework by project) afiliated with the RMIT Spatial Information Architecture Laboratory (SIAL). Advances in the digital age have already transformed design practice but we are only at the cusp of a greater revolution. RMIT’s Spatial Information Architecture Laboratory (SIAL) has been working at the forefront of digital design practice for over a decade. To address the next digital revolution, RMIT has launched a new Master of Design Innovation and Technology that speculates on the future of design practice and the application of technology to this constantly changing environment. Applicants who have completed a Master of Architecture or Master of Landscape Architecture degree (or equivalent) are eligible to complete this program in one year (full time or two years part time). The Master of Design Innovation and Technology program is now open for applications for semester 1 2014 intake.
