RMIT Architectural Robotics Lab in conjunction with FMSA Architecture won the Kids Under Cover design prize for a 3D printed cubby house.
The cubby house was 3D printed by the RMIT Architectural Robotics Lab at RMIT Architecture and was an opportunity to further develop and test our research into large-scale polymer printing. This is part of a larger project (within the robotics lab) to incorporate 3D printing into building design and fabrication. The project was printed in a biodegradable bio-polymer (PLA).
The project raised $20k for the Kids Under Cover charity winning the Best Architecture category.
