Leader – Elenberg Fraser

With nearly 25 years’ experience, Karen’s role as a Principal with Elenberg Fraser focuses on the management of the practice which has grown from 15 staff to 150 in Melbourne and Brisbane under her 10 year guidance. As an Architect herself (RMIT Hons), she focuses on excellence in professional standards and encourages the development and advancement of professional knowledge in the industry. This has been exhibited over the years in her various extra-curricular roles – Tutor at RMIT; Guest Lecturer at Monash; Deputy Chair for the ARBV, Board Member and APE Examiner; past AIA Chapter Councilor; AACA monitor and Women in Architecture Mentor. She chaired the working party for the introduction of mandatory CPD for Architects in Victoria for the ARBV, and is currently a Committee Member for the AIA Practice of Architecture + Victorian Gender Equity Taskforce.
