When the Pilbara was developed in the 1960’s, the Governents and the industries of the day tried to replicate Perth’s suburbs – 3 bedrooms, 1 bathroom, backyard, hills hoist; was this a good idea for the Pibara? Were Perth’s suburbs a good idea for Perth? How would Jeff Howlett, Iwan Iwanoff and Sergio Leone do things differently?
