Associate Professor Vivian Mitsogianni  (Deputy Dean and Head, RMIT Architecture and Urban Design) was one of 3 senior academics from RMIT to join business leaders from around the country to discuss actions for building a more prosperous Australia.

The Growth Strategy for Australia forum was hosted in Sydney by professional services firm Deloitte and included some of Australia’s most senior CEOs, chairs, directors and public servants.

Participants discussed ways of working towards a national growth strategy for Australia and the role of business and government in driving this growth.

The discussion used the Deloitte “Positioning for prosperity? Catching the Next Wave” report as a point of departure and participants were encouraged to provide productive critique of the report which identifies potential areas of strength and growth for Australia beyond the current Mining led growth wave.
