CONGRATULATIONS TO RMIT ARCHITECTURE ADJUNCT PROFESSOR KERSTIN THOMPSON ON BEING ELEVATED TO AIA LIFE FELLOW.

We congratulate Kerstin Thompson on this well-deserved honour.

Kerstin was one of two members to be elevated to Life Fellow in 2017 for notable contribution to the advancement of the profession through design excellence and teaching at schools of architecture in Australia and overseas. Her Institute Awards include residential, retail and institutional buildings.

She is Professor of Design in Architecture VUW New Zealand and Adjunct Professor of Architecture RMIT University and Monash University.

Kerstin has also made significant contributions to the Institute as Creative Director of the 2005 Institute National Conference and the Creative Director of Abundant, the Institute 2008 Venice Biennale, as a past National Councillor and Editorial Board member of Architecture Australia.
