RMIT Architecture invites you to the Intricate Forms Symposium. Intricate Forms seeks to explore the aesthetics of intricacy through a discourse between practices who produce space, objects and garments. The interaction of emerging algorithmic design and advances in digital fabrication techniques is generating a new scale of intricate resolution and aesthetic sensibility. This intricacy goes beyond embellishment and becomes integral to form and its generation. Whether this is through the pursuit of softness or other non-structural concepts, we are at a nexus of a new way of working where we can pursue ideas unconstrained by methods
of production.

Intricate Forms is convened by Associate Professor Roland Snooks and Dr Leanne Zilka of RMIT Architecture.
