Vivian Mitsogianni – Deputy Dean, Architecture & Urban Design selected to speak at the Australian Institute of Architects 2015 National Conference: RISK

 Associate Professor Vivian Mitsogianni – Deputy Dean, Architecture & Urban Design was one of two Australian Heads of Architecture selected to participate in a panel session with Professor Jeremy Till – Head of Central Saint Martins and Pro Vice-Chancellor, University for the Arts London (UK), at the Australian Institute of Architects 2015 National Conference: RISK. The panel session devoted to the conference theme of RISK in relation to architectural education also included Professor Anthony Burke – Head of School of Architecture, UTS Sydney and was chaired by Professor Donald Bates, Chair of Architectural Design, University of Melbourne.

In a sold out conference of 1500 delegates the keynote speakers also included Gregg Pasquarelli (SHoP Architects, New York), Caroline Bos (UNStudio, Netherlands), Deborah Saunt (DSDHA, UK) David Giannotten (OMA Hong Kong, Netherlands), Amanda Levete(AL_A, UK), Jeremy Till (Central Saint Martins, UK), Cynthia Davidson (Anyone Corporation, USA), Kasper Jensen (3XN, Denmark)

The conference included a number of speakers with associations to RMIT School of Architecture & Design including keynote Deborah Saunt (DSDHA, UK) who recently completed her PhD in the RMIT PRS EU Program, Finn Pedersen who received a research Masters through the PRS AU program, Architecture Adjunct Professor Ian McDougall and Architecture sessional staff, Kristin Green, Suzannah Waldron, Paul Morgan.
