2013

Each semester around 20 design studios are offered to a vertically integrated cohort of Upperpool students enrolled in Design levels 6-9. Studios are led by RMIT Architecture academic staff, design researchers, sessional staff from innovative local practices, and visiting international practitioners and academics. Each studio is run autonomously over a single semester with studio leaders setting studio briefs and thematics which they present to students in the week prior to semester. Students then ballot for a place in a studio. Studios generally operate on a 1:12 staff/student ratio.
