Biography
Simon Whibley (born Wanganui NZ, 1971) has combined extensive practice experience with architectural research and design teaching. His design research interests lie at the intersection of architectural and urban design, a focus on the implications of the architectural project for the city. In Antarctica, the practice he co-directs, he undertakes projects within the public realm of Melbourne’s suburbs and regional Victoria. More recently, Simon has be co-leading a design research project with the Victorian Government examining the potential of distributed workplaces to develop Victoria’s regional and outer suburban centres.
