INTIMATE DISTANCE: Liveness and Affect was a week long visiting fellows program involving lectures, colloquium and workshops that related to the investigation of sense of a presence that is elsewhere, where actions are registered simultaneously across different spaces. Workshop activity was predominantly aimed at developing an installation-event for October 2003: SKINS OF INTIMATE DISTANCE: surfacing unnatural histories, that was produced by the RMIT SIAL Graduate Certificate program in partnership with Experimedia (State Library of Victoria) and RMIT undergraduate students from Fashion, Communications Design and Architecture
